Our Team
June Perry-Stevens
Founder
June Perry-Stevens has over 40 years of experience in the public, private and non-profit business arenas having started her professional career as a Master’s degreed social worker in 1971. She left the public sector in 1975 to open a private, non-profit, community-based mental health clinic and social service agency that started with two part-time employees and had a staff of over 55 when she retired in 2006. She attended Stanford University and Carnegie Mellon University, earning certificates in Social Entrepreneurship from both institutions. June developed and maintains a successful commercial real estate portfolio focusing on leasing to women and minorities starting profit making businesses. Her awards and honors have been numerous, recognizing her leadership, commitment to improving the lives of youth, and mentoring young professionals. Many of her former employees have become leaders in business, education, politics, social services and the private sector. They often remind her that she gave them their first job and motivated them to make a commitment to excellence and inclusion.
Krystle C.M. Rogers
Partner
Krystle C.M. Rogers, the daughter of Best Ed owner, June Perry-Stevens, earned her BS degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University and her Master of Arts in Education from Alverno College which catapulted her career in adult education, executive coaching, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) work. She has extensive experience in the private, non-profit, and corporate arenas, serving the local Milwaukee community throughout her career in social work and learning and organizational development.
Following in her mother’s entrepreneurial footsteps, Krystle started Martin Perry Consulting and Training (MPC&T) in 2017 to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and to facilitate impactful and sustainable change within organizations. Through MPC&T, she provides coaching, consulting, and training services to executive leaders and community organizations.
Krystle has recently added the Creative Results Management Coaching Mastery Program to her repertoire, allowing her to expand her services to include coaching to support executive leaders in their DE&I development and professional growth. Her client base, which includes Milwaukee, Columbia S.C., Houston, TX, San Antonia TX, continues to expand.
Krystle continues to challenge herself to gain additional education, knowledge and skills and to expand her bandwidth to support professionals, build meaningful relationships and promote inclusive business methods. Her family history of community service, entrepreneurial endeavors and commitment to excellence makes her the perfect person to join Best Ed as partner and Business Development Manager.
