June Perry Stevens

Founder, Co-Owner and CEO

June Perry-Stevens is a trailblazing leader whose career spans more than four decades across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. With a foundation in social work and a deep commitment to equity and empowerment, she has built a legacy of impact through community service, entrepreneurship, and mentorship.

In 2004, June founded Best Ed Business, driven by a vision to deliver high-quality, service-oriented solutions to schools and businesses. Under her leadership, Best Ed has evolved into a thriving and highly respected enterprise — fueled by trusted relationships, personalized service, and a steadfast commitment to client success.

June began her career as a social worker in 1971 and went on to establish a community-based mental health clinic and social service agency in 1975. She led the organization for over 30 years, expanding it from two part-time employees to a team of more than 55 before retiring in 2006. She later earned executive certificates in Social Entrepreneurship from both Stanford University and Carnegie Mellon University.

In addition to her nonprofit and business ventures, June has cultivated a successful commercial real estate portfolio, focused on empowering women and minority entrepreneurs through accessible leasing opportunities. Her dedication to service has earned her numerous honors for leadership, youth advocacy, and mentorship. Many of her former employees—now leaders across business, education, and public service—credit June with launching their careers and inspiring their own pursuit of excellence.
